Not much different from the story from Jakarta, the East Java Rasulullah SAW Council was formed starting from the existence of various maulid wat ta'lim assemblies that previously existed in the cities of Surabaya and Sidoarjo, where the congregation was multi-generational, from children, teenagers to the elderly, but those who dominated the congregation at this maulid assembly were young people.
As time went by and with frequent gatherings of members of one assembly congregation with other assembly congregations, finally the idea arose to form a larger forum that could unite the congregation members of the assembly in order to make an assembly that was more focused and broadcast in glorifying Rasulullah SAW, then the Rasulullah SAW Council was chosen, led by Al-Habib Munzir bin Fuad Al-Musawa in Jakarta. Before Al-Habib Munzir bin Fuad Al-Musawa left in 2013, he advised Al-Habib Idrus bin Muhammad Alaydrus to continue broadcasting and at the same time develop da'wah in the East Java region and make the city of Surabaya a city of Sayyidina Muhammad SAW. Al-Habib Idrus bin Muhammad Alaydrus was one of the students of the noble teacher Al-Hafidz Al-Musnid Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidz bin Sheikh Abu Bakar bin Salim and was a friend of Al-Habib Munzir bin Fuad Al-Musawa, and this decision was warmly welcomed by Al-Hafidz Al-Musnid Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidz bin Sheikh Abu Bakar bin Salim. It was from this mandate that Al-Habib Idrus bin Muhammad Alaydrus was willing to become a guide and bridge for the congregation to the mentors of the Rasulullah SAW Council in Jakarta and to the noble teacher Al-Hafidz Al-Musnid Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidz bin Sheikh Abu Bakar bin Salim to help develop the preaching of the Rasulullah SAW Council in the East Java region.
